The route

From Marrakech, the road to the Ouzoud waterfalls runs through olive groves and Middle Atlas forest — about 3 hours each way. Your driver picks you up at the hotel in the morning, lets you walk the trail alongside the falls and spot Barbary macaques along the way, has lunch waiting at a riverside restaurant, then brings you back to Marrakech in the evening — no ride-sharing with other passengers. This route matches our Ouzoud Waterfalls circuit, bookable directly on the site.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a day trip to Ouzoud waterfalls cost?

Every trip gets a fixed, personalized quote, confirmed by WhatsApp or email within 2 hours of your request — before you book. No meter, no surprise fee: you pay the agreed amount directly to the driver, on the day.

How long is the drive between Marrakech and Ouzoud?

About 3 hours each way, through olive groves and Middle Atlas forest. With the visit to the falls themselves, the full outing usually runs 10 to 11 hours — departing around 8am, back at your hotel in the evening.

Does the driver stay with us the whole day?

Yes. This is a private day round-trip — the driver drops you at Ouzoud, stays available, and brings you back to Marrakech the same evening. No ride-sharing with other passengers.

Do I need to pay a deposit to book?

No. Booking requires no deposit — you pay the driver directly, on the day.

What do you see and do at Ouzoud in one day?

The Ouzoud waterfalls — Morocco's highest, dropping about 110 meters — are reached by a trail that runs alongside the cascade down to its base. Along the way you'll pass Barbary macaques living wild in the surrounding vegetation. Lunch is at a riverside restaurant with a view of the falls.

Can you swim at the base of the falls?

Swimming is possible depending on the season — the water flow and temperature vary through the year, with better conditions in spring and early summer. Your driver can advise on the day's conditions.

Can you feed or touch the Barbary macaques?

We recommend against feeding or touching them — they're wild animals, even if used to people around the site. Keep a respectful distance to enjoy watching them safely.

Which vehicle should I choose for my group size?

We recommend the vehicle based on passenger count: 1 to 3 passengers → SUV (3 seats); 4 to 7 passengers → Van (7 seats); 8 to 14 passengers → Large Van (14 seats); 15 to 17 passengers → Minibus (17 seats). Mention your passenger count when booking and we'll suggest the right vehicle.
